GHAOBATA FC Head Coach, Sam Sukulu was trilled after his team made an astounding victory over Loguwalasi FC 1-0 yesterday and wants to see much better discipline when the teams meet Aola FC in the grand-final of Guadalcanal Football League of Competition at KG IV field today.

He said victory is essential for Ghaobata if they are to maintain pressure on other finalists, Aola FC.

“They need to maintain high discipline and strength after a rather poor semi-final match in yesterday’s narrow victory in our semi-final encounter with Loguwalasi FC,” he told Raw Sports.

The objective of the competition is to select players to represent Guadalcanal province in the upcoming Solomon Games in Renbel province this year.

Sam expressed his delight to lead the team in this year’s football competition.

“As a former player of Ghaobata, it is very important to come back and coach my former football club after almost 20 years of not reaching the grand-final of the competition.

“This is a historical come back for the Ghaobata FC,” he added.

Meanwhile, the head coach described yesterday’s semi-final match as quite difficult and bother side had equal opportunities.

“The match is not an easy one for us to play, but we really try our best win this game,” Sam said.

The result of the grand final match between Aola FC and Ghaobata FC is currently not available.
