Kukuvojo Aims For A Come Back Against Arrows Today

Choiseul Province (Lauru Kukuvojo) lineup on Day 5 against hosts Honiara

EDDIE Rukumana’s side Lauru Kukuvojo has set eyes for a comeback win against Temotu Arrows today 1pm.
Following their opener defeat to host Honiara Warriors on Sunday their focus now is set for today’s game.
Head Coach, Rukumana told RAW SPORTS that their experience in the opener defeat against Honiara, has motivated his players to refocused for their remaining pool matches.
“It was tense for the players in the opener against an experienced Honiara side, now we experience the defeat we will patch up our weaknesses and focus for a win today,” Rukumana said.
“We now have confidence to take on Temotu as our second opponent,” he expressed.
He also admitted that Arrows would not be an easy task, going up against the two-time Solomon Cup finalist.
“Surely it will not be an easy game on Tuesday (today) but we will be remain positive to take on our challenge,” he said.
With hopes high Lauru is expecting a tough encounter against the tournament’s top contender.
“We learned of many mistakes in our opening match that we are to polish before heading on the field. We need points in our remaining matches,” he said.
Following their opener defeat, Rukumana also gave all the credit to the Warriors for deceiving the win on Sunday.
Temotu Arrows heading in today’s game, already with 3 points registered last week defeating Guadalcanal Hornets 5-0.
Both teams already played a game each, and are the top contenders of the tournament.
