KOSSA FC has registered a historic win over top contenders Western United 7-3 on Saturday 23rd.

“The win against Western United was historic for more than one reason. It was the first time KOSSA beat United with such score line,” KOSSA Head Coach, Eddie Marahare said.

Flamboyant James Naka got 4 goals to his name to give the men in yellow a lead before the breather.

The second stanza saw former national; George Suri marked his comeback adding a brace with well combination play with Naka upfront.

“It was the first time Suri combined well with Naka upfront.

Marahare also praised his veteran goalkeeper, Shadrack Ramoni.

“Shadrack contributed immensely to the team’s line of defence.

KOSSA win means they are now with 10 points sitting on the fourth position in the table standing after 3 wins a draw and lose.
