FIJI-based striker Darold Kakasi is yet to confirm his availability to join the national training squad in the preparation for July’s Pacific Games in Samoa.
Kakasi, who hails from Kwaio in Malaita Province, is currently plying trade with Fiji soccer powerhouse Ba FC.
A training squad of 40 players was named for the Pacific Games over the recent days and Kakasi was one of the five overseas-based players.
“I’m pleased to have my name included into the Pacific Games training squad.
“However I’m yet to confirm when to join the team for training.
“A call to represent the country is a big call and an honour.”
